Good, at first
2/ 5stars

It was very quiet at first, things were looking good. But after a week it started making rattling noises. I pulled it apart to clean but there was nothing to clean. Over all not happy with the product i recieved, im hoping I just received a bad unit.

Thank you
4/ 5stars

Thanks to all those that helped. This little motor worked for my small fountain. I cant say I'll put it on all the way since water prints out . The switch doesnt stay in one place so duck tape to the rescue. Or super glue. It isnt as quiet but it works. So... I'm pleased.

Cheap but reliable
4/ 5stars

I buried it in gravel to pump water up about 18 for a waterfall. It has performed quietly and reliably since I put it in. The hose is a little flexible, as it is silicone and not vinyl. The flow rate has been a few gallons a minute, I havent actually measured it.

very strong, holds up to sand and debris
5/ 5stars

works great. very strong but you can turn it down. I put sand in my tank and it made a cloudy mess, this pump did not care about the sand and kept working great. Other pumps/filters that I've owned are very touchy when it comes to fine sand particles getting in the mechanisms (they grind loudly or j ust stop working). This little pump took a beating with very cloudy sand-water and it is still silent and working 100 like new. It's also small, so you can be creative and hide it or build it into a decoration. Also known as a tile saw pump
5/ 5stars

As advertised. The use here is to replace the tile saw saw. The OEM was the same Pulaco, it's a fraction of the price of Tile Saw labeled pumps. No need to futz with the failing pump. For the price, buy 2.I'm lifting sump water about 2'. It delivers more than adequate flow at the lowest setting.

Got it to work
4/ 5stars

This pump has been a headache. Trying to get it to produce a steady flow is close to impossible. It's really spastic. One minute its flowing, next minute it's shooting out with a high force, next minute the flow isnt even high enough to get the water to flow through this tabletop fountain and all yo u hear is a sucking sputtering back flow sound. I have to adjust it several times a day, replace water that sprayed all over my table and constantly wipe up the mess. I'm very disappointed. I lost the original pump during a move and this foutain was given to me in memory of my late son. I had his picture near it and it got wet. I make sure the water is always above the pump, this has been happening since day one so it's not clogged or anything like that. Placing a small pebble on top of the hole of the fountain has helped a little with the back flow problem. This is my fix for the time being until I get a new pump. May have gotten damaged during shipment. The pump and box was separate when I opened the envelope. Update: I tied a piece of plastic wrap around the top of the tube which straightened out the curve and solved the back flow problem. It now runs steadily doesn't act sporadic anymore Read more

Horrible smell , easy return
1/ 5stars

Horrible smell of a Chinese factory. Got what I payed for , but I returned it. Easy return through amazon . The pump was not quite as bad as the vinyl tubing . I needed the tubing for the project and the tubing was far from safe based off the smells etc.

Great general use low volume low pressure pump - good for growing bean sprouts!
5/ 5stars

I'm using this with the NEARPOW short cycle timer (B07QJ3K43N) to soak my sprouts every hour for 15 seconds. It functions perfectly on repeated but short duty cycles. The flow is a at a decent rate and puts out a good pressure, but not garden hose pressure(also a plus). Seems well built, safe and do esn't leak electricity(hasn't tripped my CGFI outlet at all over the last few months). Plus for the price, can't really go wrong! Read more

too small
3/ 5stars

I am using it in a water fountain. I checked the capacity (90GPM) not the size when I bought it. It looked big enough but I am trying to replace a more stout pump with 33-wire cable and big enough to be able to be sealed at the entrance into the fountain lower bowl. It is my fault for not checking b ut the add it did say that it can be used with water fountains. I can have other uses for this little pump but I will have to look elsewhere for what I want Read more
