Theres nothing actually wrong with these. They dont taste bad. They dont taste like anything actually. Very bland. Itd take a microscope to find any nut fragments since theres almost no nuts at all. They are worth maybe...maybe.. 5. Certainly not the 17 I paid. Save your .

This was the first time trying this type of candy. Let me tell you , I was not disappointed. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised. The packaging was just lovely. Right from the start you can tell that this company really has pride in their product. So, I was excited to try them. Delicious! They were so delicious, I wanted to have the children try them also. Let them try new things. They were delighted. Two minutes later. No candy! That is a statement all on its own. Terrible packing and taste!

Ive spent about 3,000 on amazon products, this is my first negative review. Doesnt even taste like delights. Its like knock off version to be honest. Also I cant believe how poorly packaged these are. The sugar is coming out of the package. The delights are stuck in the box (typically loose enough t o grab and enjoy). You gotta rip each one out and they arent even soft. The taste quality is about 2 star but overall this is a horrible experience due to packing handling and poor quality and taste. Im comparing them to another brand (Loqum) and this is vey disappointing. Mind you they offer no returns! I ordered 6 in confidence due to the great reviews. Read more

Nice with hot chocolate or coffee

These taste pleasant and for me would satisfy a sugar craving they dont seem like candy to snack on casually Id wait till you feel really hungry because its got a sweet gelatin texture which is a lot like tea flavor. I liked the hazelnut the most but you can definitely taste the different types used the pomegranate is very mild fruit its not sour or tangy thats normal. The almond one is okay yet slightly like Vaseline or if you wear lip balm and it gets in your mouth when you drink its like that. The size is good for the price and its wrapped really well so it wont go stale. I like the dusting is cornstarch because powdered sugar would be excessive so it helps to absorb the jelly filling I would like it to be reversed though with the nuts on the outside and jelly in the middle. worth a try

I've never had Turkish delight before and wanted to try it. I appreciated the variety of favors and the overall packaging. In general, this candy is just not for me. It's too sweet without any acid to balance it out, which is probably how its supposed to be. I'm glad I atleast tried it once. Marmara really is a Turkish Delight! . . .

Occasionally I treat myself or family with Turkish delights (lokum in Turkish), and have tried various genuine imported products. So after much sweet research, our consensus is Marmara! We will be repeat customers.Their flavors were superb, subtle but delicious, and not overpowering. The nuts were g enerous in each bite. Other treats with heavy perfumes or sickenly sweet flavors just don't seem natural--that is too often the case. Not so with Marmara! Their variety assortment (5 flavors) was delightful, each perfect for a one or two-bite treat. Try them with coffee or hot tea after dinner.Some wrote reviews asking questions: as to size, the boxes are packed by weight, and the Marmara delights are in one-pound boxes. The numbers may vary slightly, due to variations in cutting from batch to batch (that's more like a homemade confection would be). But the box is packed to yield a pound, and that's approximately 30 small Turkish delight cubes, dusted in confectioner's sugar (helps prevent sticking).As someone recommended, open over the counter or a sink if concerned about the sugar -- it is usually mild.And for a party, we liked the mixed box, with five flavors to select from (see above). Exquisite flavor and texture, very fresh and a truly marvelous fruity-nutty experience. Top of the line. The pomegranate is unbelievable! Please know however that the box contains exactly 15 pieces, each just under a 1.25 inch cube, and you are paying almost a dollar per piece, which is extravagant. Otherwise I would give it ten stars.
