So far best litter with forever tray
5/ 5stars

This is the best litter we have found with the forever litter tray. It works best with the auto cat box. Almost instantly it clumps and is scoopable. It does stick a little to the plastic tray but nothing like other cat litter. It comes up super easy. We have 3 cats, one over 9lbs who is the male an d 2 under 9 which are females. We have three little boxes and all three use this litter. We subscribe and save with 2 boxes a month and with 3 cats it gets us through. A bit on the expensive side but worth the no hassle of cleaning it. The odor or smell isn't overwhelming to bother my asthma. Very little to no dust when pouring it out. Love this stuff! Read more

NEVER AGAIN!
2/ 5stars

Pros:Low dust, low odor w use, large box for multiple uses, most product slides out easily.Cons:Unknown substance causes my cat to reject box w only 1 week old litter, also causes my cat to vomit after grooming. Not sure what is in this formula, but I think when it mixes with urine it causes a reacti on. This reaction flared up my allergies and asthma, and caused my cat to avoid the box, and when finally used she vomited after grooming. Whatever it is, I have declared it toxic to me and my cat. Beware! Read more

Never using this again!
1/ 5stars

I normally use the Arm and Hammer Clump and Seal, which works wonderfully, but I got this Slide for the first time about two weeks ago... and last time. First of all, my cat is 12 years old and I have never smelled a cat-urin smell in my house until I started using this litter. Second, it was litera lly all over my house. I have dark colored wood floors and I had to sweep up my whole downstairs every few hours because of all the tracking. My cat is very large and when he pees, its a lot...the pee did not soak into the litter right away, it would puddle on the top of the litter which resulted in the pee actually getting all over my cats feet...then the litter sticking to his feet as he got out of the box, so not only did I have to sweep up all the litter, but follow my cat around with baby wipes cleaning up the pee prints from his feet. By far the worst cat litter Ive ever tried. Im pretty sure my cat hated it too. His paws have been all gunked up with litter and pee for the last two weeks. I threw away half the box that was left and went back to the Clump and Seal today and havent had to sweep up any litter from my floors all day. Will never purchase this Slide litter again! Read more

Not Just The Best, But Amazon Subscribe And Save Makes It One Of The Most Convenient And Affordable.
5/ 5stars

When Buttercup came to live with us we tried several different brands of litter and decided the Arm Hammer litters worked best, and then after trying several different Arm Hammer litters we decided that their Platinum Slide is our litter of choice. Buttercup is not finicky about his litter, and happ ily used whatever we put in his box, so the ultimate decision about which litter to use was ours. Our preferences are zero dust, least tracking, good clumping, good sifting, odor control, and easy cleaning, and the Arm Hammer Platinum Slide is the best performer in each of those categories of all the litters we have used.As we are meticulous about the cleanliness of Buttercup's litter box, the fine grains of this litter allow for a second sifting using a fine mesh sifter which removes the smaller clumps of litter that fall through the 4mm spaces that the standard cat litter scooper has, a task that cannot be performed with the larger grained litters. We have it delivered using Amazon Prime Subscribe And Save, which, along with the other products to which we subscribe, gives a 15 discount, costing us only 21.24 per 37 lb box. EDIT STAR REMOVAL ADD. COMMENT Finally! A litter that almost checks all the boxes! Platinum Slide
4/ 5stars

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ADDED AND STAR DEDUCTION: While I really like this litter, I have grown to really hate the overly nauseating perfumed scent of it. I am frustrated beyond belief that they can't come up with a litter like this that's not scented so strongly. Some of us have to have these in areas w here we frequent often. It's just too much! However, I can't seem to find a litter that is truly is dust free like this and has the least amount of tracking like this litter. The Platinum Slide litter is the first litter I've found that has made scooping so much easier! I have two cats and one pees like she's two cats, so all other clump litters, would just adhere to the bottom of the litter boxes. It was a grueling back-hurting task to scoop two litter boxes because I had to basically jackhammer the clumps with the scooper and the clumps were ridiculously heavy. Some litters, the clumps would fall apart making scooping much harder. The clumps with this litter are nowhere nearly as heavy and does not break apart.I also see very little tracking of this litter in the house which is an even bigger bonus! I was getting so sick and tired, not to mentioned grossed out, at having to remove cat litter from my bed and furniture constantly. I was having to sweep every single day as well. I still sweep, but I don't have to do so nearly as often and I rarely see a grain of cat litter in my bed. The litter is sand-like so I'm guessing it doesn't get trapped in their little toe beans. That same cat that pees like two cats, also has the most gawd-awful poops I've ever had the displeasure of smelling, and despite all the other cat litters saying it had odor control, this one comes the closest. Now, I really dislike the perfumed scent of this litter, and normally tried to stay away from litter that had that gross perfumed scent, but I swear it is a trade off I am now able to overlook because it actually does the job. I'm thinking the cats also like the feel of this litter because they cover their turds completely (which helps to eliminate the stench).Lastly, this is the only litter that has been true about not creating a dust cloud when you pour it or scoop. So, besides the perfumed smell, this litter is one of the best I've ever tried. I've tried many different litters, from crystals to pellets, to wheat, this one is so far the best one. Read more

HOW DID I LIVE WITHOUT THIS
5/ 5stars

Finally, a cat litter that actually clumps instantaneously, and doesn't leave behind urine soaked, not clumped loose pieces which leaves a lingering odor. I used to use the most popular natural corn based, flushable litter. You know who I'm talking about. I finally tried Slide per a coworkers recomm endation (we work at an all cat shelter and each have between 5-8 cats at home). It really does 'slide' right out of the litter box. Doesn't matter what shape box, whether it's coated or not. I used rubbermaid tubs from Walmart I cut out entry holes as well as traditional litter boxes that have a special coating. Slide works in all of them. It has a faint, pleasant clean odor that does not bother my sinuses, and zero dust compared to every other advertised low or zero dust litter on the market. I will not be looking back - I was having to deep clean litter boxes weekly (completely dump, bleach, refill) because the natural corn and walnut litters would just smell even after scooping - they just don't clump well enough. And regular clay litter just gobs up all disgusting. I will never go back! Read more

FAKE! This is a cheap knockoff
1/ 5stars

What amazon is selling here is a fake, cheap knockoff. This is not the same product that is sold in stores. What amazon is selling is a cheap, perfume stinky, dusty, low quality clumping litter. The same product bought at a pet food store is very different and has granules of multiple colors, is dus t free, and has a very faint smell. Read more

Have multiple cats Look no further...
5/ 5stars

I have multiple cats that I adore that can certainly give me a run for my litter purchasing money. I have tried numerous brands of cat litter and I've found that the Arm Hammer Slide Easy Clean-Up Litter has become a household favorite. I have tried many litters on the market and by far this is the best, but slightly higher in cost than what we I have been using. I have had trouble with other brands with the dust in the house as well as bothering our breathing when cleaning out the clumps. This is the first dustless one that I feel is dustless and covers (absorbs) the odors best. I clean out clumps early morning and late night as my cats are about as finicky as I am, they like a clean litter box. Thank you Arm and Hammer, you did good on this one.*This is a non paid/ non biased review. Read more

Not that effective
2/ 5stars

I have been using a grass-based cat litter for a few years: SmartCat All Natural Clumping Litter. Although I subscribe save here, I saw this litter and since my grocery store carries it, I thought I would try it out. I will be going back to the SmartCat litter. The problems:1) It DOES have dust. I ha ve 5 cats and numerous boxes, and when you are scooping that many, even a little bit of dust starts to affect your breathing.2) The clumps are not very firm. Even if you leave the clumps for a day, they really don't firm up enough.3) Perfume-y scent isn't great for me or the cats.4) The litter is heavy. I don't just mean the box, but when scooping, it weighs down the scooper. Again, not a huge problem with 1 box, but cleaning 5 in a row, my arm is sore. The grass litter clumps wonderfully, has NO dust, is unscented, and is very light. Wish I could find that in my local store.NOTE: The big draw with the Arm Hammer was the easy slide feature. No one wants clumps stuck to the box. I get around this with other litters by scrubbing out the box once a month, then spraying a light mist of Pam nonstick spray before I put new litter in. It really works! Read more

Best litter EVER
5/ 5stars

My cats have only ever used Arm Hammer Double Duty (orange and purple box) After awhile I noticed it seemed to be getting more powdery and white dust was going everywhere anytime I cleaned the box (or the cats were scratching in there)I bought this litter because it said 100 dust free. I wasnt expec ting much for their claims of things just sliding right out, but omg they arent lying! Not only is this litter dust free, but nothing sticks. Seriously. Ever. It does cost a bit more than the regular litter in the orange box, but for us its totally worth the price, and I havent had to scrape the bottom of the cat box since. Plus you can go to their website and sign up for coupons. Read more
